The Inherited Release Method (IRM) Practitioner Training is an immersive certification in body-led ancestral and generational healing, bringing together energy healing, kinesiology techniques, nervous system awareness and energetic bodywork.

Join us in Glastonbury, Somerset, United Kingdom, from 1–4 April 2027, for the very first UK Inherited Release Method Practitioner Training, taught personally by founder Elizabeth Brown.

  • How to structure and guide one-to-one sessions, both in person and online, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere

  • Practitioner safety, consent, nervous system awareness and energetic co-regulation including working with feminine and masculine energetic pathways.

  • How to recognise and respond to different emotional, physical and energetic responses during a session.

  • Working with generational and ancestral patterns through the body, including maternal and paternal lineages.

  • Womb healing and ancestral connections, exploring the maternal line, inherited patterns and womb clearing techniques.

Through hands-on practice, demonstrations and supervised learning, you'll develop the skills and understanding to facilitate IRM sessions, work responsibly with clients and continue building your own practitioner practice.

WHO IS THIS ANCESTRAL HEALING PRACTITIONER TRAINING FOR?

This ancestral healing practitioner training is for those who understand, or are beginning to recognise, that healing can extend beyond the story of the individual.

We are shaped by more than what has happened within our own lifetime. We are born into families, lineages, cultures and histories that existed long before us. Our bodies carry biology shaped by generations before us, while family patterns, beliefs, relationships, survival responses and ways of moving through the world can continue from one generation to the next.

Within the Inherited Release Method (IRM), we explore the body as part of this much larger ancestral and generational story.

The work invites you to look beyond the individual and become curious about what may sit beneath the patterns presenting today. What belongs to this lifetime? What may have been learnt or carried through family? What appears connected to the maternal or paternal lineage? What happens when we begin to acknowledge the generations that came before us as part of the healing process?

IRM brings ancestral and generational healing into direct relationship with the body. Through kinesiology techniques, energetic mapping, nervous system awareness, energy healing and the wider IRM framework, you will learn ways of exploring these deeper layers while remaining grounded in the person and body in front of you.

This training may be for you if you:

GLASTONBURY IN PERSON TRAINING

Course Overview

Glastonbury, Somerset, UK - Goddess Hall | 1–4 April 2027
Training hours: Approximately 9:45 am – 5:00 pm daily

For the first time in the United Kingdom, the Inherited Release Method (IRM) Practitioner Training comes to Glastonbury for four days of immersive, hands-on ancestral healing and practitioner education with founder Elizabeth Brown.

This in-person ancestral healing certification training brings together kinesiology techniques, energetic bodywork, nervous system awareness, acupressure, meridian pathways and the extensive IRM system of emotional and ancestral mapping.

Throughout the four days, you will learn to work across different layers of the body and energetic system, using the IRM database of over 650 emotions, beliefs and energetic patterns, alongside kinesiology and muscle testing techniques, to guide your understanding of what may arise within an individual session.

You will explore:

  • Ancestral and lineage mapping, including maternal and paternal pathways and techniques for opening deeper ancestral doorways within the work

  • The IRM kinesiology system, using 650+ mapped emotions, beliefs and energetic patterns to explore what is presenting within the body and the ancestral pathways that may be connected

  • Full-body IRM processes, including front body, back body and grounded floor-based work

  • Womb-centred work and clearing processes, including maternal lineage, birth, pregnancy, reproductive experiences, loss and other experiences that may arise within womb work

  • Acupressure, meridian pathways and energetic clearing points used throughout an IRM session

  • Earth and elemental ancestral work, grounding and connection with the physical body

  • Heart-centred processes for emotional holding, connection, protection and grief

  • Vagus nerve and nervous system-focused processes, including regulation, energetic co-regulation and recognising shifts within the body during a session

  • Head, face and upper-body processes to support grounding, embodiment and reconnection with the body

  • Practical processes for anger, grief, emotional expression and held energetic responses

  • Energetic cords, relational connections and patterns that may continue between individuals, families and generations

  • How to follow what the body presents rather than applying the same process to every person

  • How to bring the different elements of IRM together into a complete one-to-one session

Your learning begins from the moment you enrol.

Before we meet in Glastonbury, you will receive access to the IRM Pre-Training Course, covering essential theory, practitioner foundations and kinesiology muscle testing techniques. This allows you to begin studying and practising before the four-day intensive.

You will also be invited to monthly online morning sessions with Liz, including ancestral healing sessions, practitioner teachings, foundational practice and opportunities to ask questions.

These sessions allow you to experience IRM personally, develop familiarity with the techniques and begin connecting with the work before we meet in person.

Following your four days in Glastonbury, you will receive 60 days of complimentary access to the complete IRM Online Practitioner Training, normally valued at €1,899.

With 18 modules and up to 100 individual lessons, demonstrations and training components, you can revisit the techniques, explore the teachings in greater depth and continue developing your practical understanding.

Rather than trying to absorb everything across four intensive days, you will have the complete online training to return to as you integrate what you have learnt.

By the end of your Glastonbury training, you will have practical experience giving and receiving IRM sessions, a deeper understanding of ancestral and generational healing, and the foundations for facilitating the method within your own practitioner work.

Certification is available upon successful completion of all IRM practitioner training requirements.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

Some of what we carry began long before us.

Before our own experiences came the experiences of our mothers, fathers, grandparents and the generations before them. Families carry stories, beliefs, grief, survival responses, ways of loving, ways of protecting and ways of moving through the world.

IRM was created to explore these deeper layers.

To work with the body in this lifetime, while recognising that the story may extend far beyond it. To look towards the maternal and paternal lines, the ancestral and energetic body, and the places where patterns continue to surface generations later.

Because sometimes understanding the person in front of you also means understanding that they are part of a much older story.

Explore Inherited Emotional Patterns

We inherit more than our DNA. We are born into family systems shaped by beliefs, behaviours, relationships, survival responses, grief, culture and the experiences of generations before us. Sometimes the emotional patterns we experience in the present can feel much older than our own story.

IRM gives practitioners a structured way to explore inherited trauma, generational emotional patterns and ancestral influences through the body.

Using IRM kinesiology techniques, energetic mapping and a database of more than 650 emotions, beliefs and energetic patterns, practitioners learn to explore what presents within a session, where it may be experienced within the body, and whether the work points towards the individual's own experiences, maternal or paternal lineage, or wider ancestral connections.

From there, the work may move through nervous system awareness, meridian pathways, womb-centred healing, heart-centred processes, energetic bodywork or grounding techniques, depending on what arises within the session.

As an IRM practitioner, you will learn to look beyond the presenting emotion or pattern and explore what may sit beneath it. Rather than approaching every client with the same sequence, you will develop the skills to respond to the individual, using the body-led IRM framework to guide your next steps.

TESTIMONIALS

★★★★★

Attending the 4 day IRM training in Auckland recently has been nothing short of life-changing. This experience ignited so many of my passions and, for the first time, brought them all together in one powerful practice. I now feel truly committed to carrying this work forward in my own life and practice.

★★★★★

"Being a proponent of both scientific and natural approaches to mind body wellness, IRM Inherited Release Method did not disappoint. I was impressed with the integration of evidence based theory and holistic information, and the somatic, and transpersonal practical application to clients."

— Leigh M

★★★★★

IRM feels like the piece I didn’t know I was missing. My clients are already drawn to it and I know it belongs in my kete or matauranga to be shared with the world. If someone asked me about the training, I’d say: Get off the fence and do it! you’ll be supported fully and you’ll walk out with tools and connections you’ll hold onto forever.

MEET Elizabeth Brown – Founder of the Inherited Release Method™, Ancestral Bodywork

The Inherited Release Method came from years of working with energy, the body, ancestral healing and the patterns we carry that do not always make sense within the context of our own lives.

I wanted to create a method that could go deeper. One that could work with the person and body in front of us, while also recognising the generations standing behind them.

IRM brought together so much of what I had studied and experienced over the years: kinesiology, the nervous system, energy work, ancestral healing, the womb, intuition and the understanding that sometimes what surfaces within the body has a much older story.

What started as a method I created has now been taught to practitioners around the world, and I feel incredibly protective of how this work continues to be taught.

For the first time, I am bringing the Inherited Release Method Practitioner Training to the United Kingdom, and I couldn't think of anywhere more fitting than Glastonbury.

My own ancestral roots stretch back to Britain, and there is something deeply personal about returning to the lands my ancestors once walked, this time to share a method that has grown from my own journey of understanding ancestral healing.

And Glastonbury, of all places. A land so deeply connected to ancient folklore, sacred sites, pilgrimage, spirituality and centuries of people seeking connection with something beyond themselves. There is something quite special about bringing ancestral healing into a place with so much history, where the relationship between land, spirit and those who came before us is still very much part of its identity.

I am looking forward to experiencing that connection myself, not just as a teacher, but as someone returning to part of her own ancestral heritage.

I want you to understand more than the techniques. I want you to understand how to work with another person's body and energy with confidence, how to stay grounded when something deeper surfaces, how to trust what you are feeling without making assumptions, and how to recognise the responsibility that comes with working this closely with another person.

For four days, from 1–4 April 2027, I get to teach you this work in the way I know it best: in person, through practice, experience, questions, bodies, energy and everything that can only really be understood once we are in the room together.

To bring IRM to the UK for the very first time, in a place like Glastonbury, feels particularly meaningful to me. I cannot wait to share this experience with you, walk these lands and see what unfolds when we come together.
